Saw Bo Mya

A defining KNU leader of the late twentieth century. He belongs in regional history, not on a project team slide.

Standard histories place him at the centre of the KNU from the 1960s until his resignation in January 2000.4

2017 fundraising decks identify him as the late father of Nerdah Mya and borrow that lineage. He had died years before those placements. Using a name is not the same as an endorsement.27
